I echo your comments. I just don't get it when owners rebadge a car into something it's clearly not. I've even seen a recent local example on CL where an owner converted a standard narrow body Carrera into a turbo-look with an added aftermarket turbo unit installed and even put the intercooler vents and rebadged the car (rear logo, door sill logo, etc.). What's worse it was listed as a Porsche 996 Turbo. You wouldn't know it was a modified car unless you read the description and even with the sneaky wording, someone that doesn't know these cars very well, might have thought it was the real deal.

Sketchy dealer, but a guards red coupe for under 11 kilobucks might be worth checking out.

1999 Carrera 911 Black in Milwaukee
No affiliation. Looked at this car tonight, and was not able to get a deal together on my trade. Car has under 50k miles, black, tan interior, 6 speed, paint looks original, no wheel scuffs, seats are perfect front and back. No stone chips, no door dings, smells great. Checked under car- no leaks. Has IMS Guardian installed and tested its dash button- that works as it should. Original radio, no heated seats. Has cruise. 17" OEM wheels with tires that are about 5+ years old but full of tread. This car was built in 6/98 which makes it an early 99 that should have the dual row IMS bearing. If you decide to call on the car, email Margy Cahill at mcahill@bmwmilwaukeenorth.com. She is at 414-290-4224. I bought a BMW from her a year ago and she is very professional and fun to work with. It is black, not blue as this ad states. I did not see any stickers related to an LN Engineering bearing.

You and Schnelly should have a conversation about breaks, shoes, and stables...
