I'm glad you had a great drive - Thanks for taking people on the drive, Michael. I hope the new attendees will join us more regularly.

Bob,
Thanks for the great pictures of what you found.
About how many miles worth of debris do you think that was?

Bruce - I think it was close to 10 years of debris; hard to say, since I haven't opened a front bumper up before.

I'm bringing my kids tomorrow. I'll be taking full advantage of their wireless so that my kids can enjoy themselves in the back room, on the couches, on the computer. They won't want to discuss the DE with us. See you in the A.M.

Well, I don't have any WZ pics, but here are before and after shots of my Smog-pump-ectomy on Saturday. This is the vacuum valve on the top that mixed fresh air to the cats and from the cats into the air filter box. Note how much space its removal opens up.

The majority of the pump system, including the pump itself, is out of site between the block and the A/C compressor, of whcih I do not have pics.

You need to post pics of your DE at CMP!

Dutchie...download Irfanview and use the "Resize/Resample" option to make em smaller. There are plenty other programs that can do it too but irfanview is lightweight and works well.

A great group was in attendance for our Saturday gathering - our last before the First Settlers DE next weekend. So, there was much conversation about DE preparation and last minute instructor changes for the green group attendees (all but 2 of our 8 attendees). Excitement was the prevailing mood.

Here's who was there:

Dell (Arena Red 996 Cab)
Scott (White C4S)
Ken (Grey 928S4)
George (Black 996 Cab)
John (Guards Red Boxster)
Peter (Arena Red Boxster)
Randy (Blue 996 Aero)
Charles (Blue 996)
Ken (Silver Cayman S)
Jeff (Grey 996)
Bob (Black 996 Aero)

I've also included a shot of an interesting ride I saw in a mall parking lot on my way home from the coffee - quite the looker. You have to appreciate a good sense of humor. All that work for a laugh.

Next weekend, it's off to VIR. I hope those of you who aren't at the DE will pay a visit to the Wake Zone.

Have a great week, everyone.

Bob

FANTASTIC TIME @ VIR WITH THE SCR CREW!!!!!!!

Bob, sorry your instructor ditched you. Glad we were able to get you a few instructors to cover the rest of the day. You did awesome this weekend!

George, some how you were able to go agricultural once AGAIN yet you weren't behind the wheel. Go figure, right? LOL!!!!

Scott, absolutely a natural behind the wheel. Except of course when the ladies come up on your with a full head of steam. Where's 3rd gear again?

Jeff, go bite "somebody's" *** would ya?

Martin, I glad you practiced safe sex on the track!

Charles, I need you to turn in your gun....your double "0" status has been revoked for fraternizing with another race team.

Manil, if you show up next Saturday with a Ferrari, we are going to have to disavow you.

Rich, it's ok, everybody goes off at Oak Tree at one point or another

Thanks everybody for a great weekend. Enjoyed spending it with y'all. For the rest of the SCR crew that didn't make it, looking forward to seeing y'all at the party next weekend.

Alright....so who's posting up the pics from the track??? I'll have video in the morning. Converting it right now from mpeg2 to mpeg4.

.......Here's a pic of my 19 month old getting ready for a session Saturday morning

What a kick *** weekend!

Hey, if she's faster, she's faster.

George; 'let him go'; excellent results IMO for a first timer in a cab on 17s
Jeff; "nice chair"; 2 times, biatch!
Martin; Trojan maaaan!
Charles; the Blue Man Group; started his own race team without telling anyone
Rich; the voice of experience; always there to provide feedback if it was asked for
Bob; the over-thinker

Some of mine...
