Had a great time today. It was nice getting to meet the other half of the wake zone crew. Hopefully I'll be able to make it next weekend.
Michael, I tried but it's still no where close to the pictures that you pull off. Are you sure to don't have a Nikon D90 hidden somewhere in your car?
As for the Maserati, the factory should have just covered it with more plastic.

Awesome time today. Ralph and John nice to finally meet you.
I don't have much to offer by ways of pics; had a battery issue with my camera.
I'm sure there will be other events with better turnout. Anyway, a couple for your enjoyment.
Something that jumped out at me for a car of such high end manufacture though was the seams near the windsheild / hood mount on both the silver and white Maserati GTs; like the pivoted hinge for the hood was an afterthought.

FYI - The weather on Saturday is expected to be mostly clear and sunny wiih temp. in the 50s. Sounds like a great day for some coffee and a drive.

OK - I admit that I'm an addict when it comes to our Saturday meetings. Imagine the sad sight if we didn't have these meetings. I'd be sitting in my garage on a cardboard box just staring at my car - probably talking to it. Creepy.
As for the weather forecast, I used MSN's 10-day forecast for Apex, NC. It was raining cats & dogs while I was typing up my message, so it did seem kind of ironic.
Have faith, my friends. The sun'll come out....on Thursday.
