Hi John. Had my brain operated a little faster, I'd have followed you at the exit in case you might pull into the shopping center so we could meet. I got that idea after it was too late.

We did get a bit of driving in. Here's Jeff and Helmut. Just above the side mirror is Helumt's camera that he shot the video with.



Our destination was closed so time for a u-turn.



Heading back the way we came





We eventually got to some curves - here, Bob, Scott and Charles



Then on the way home, a nice surprise. I recognized the Rosewood SC Targa right away and grabbed the camera.







John, I'll send you a PM with a link to the pics of your SC. I tried to get a good one of your daughter's big smile but didn't quite keep the camera as still as I'd have liked. Once again ... I'm still working on my photography skills.

Now we see if Bob can wait another week or if he has a New Year's eve coffee meet in mind ....... Note that next Saturday is Italian day at Brier Creek so I'll be heading up there.

My two girls love going for a ride in the Targa everytime I take it out.

Great photos, Scott and Michael. I'll post a link to Kodakgallery later, but they will only be mediocre duplicates (with a bias toward my own car). So, I'll see you all next Saturday - Brier Creek sounds great.

As for New Year's Eve, I'm thinking about it....I'll post later this week.

Helmut, thanks for the video links. While I was there, I took a look at the Rock'n'Croc videos and they are awesome!

Every year in LA, a group of Porsche guys on the Pelican forum have a tradition of a New Year's morning fun run. If the weather is good enough, I am going on a fun run here. I don't know if the Wake Zone will be open or not but if anyone else is up for a run to break in the new year, we'll meet up somewhere.
