Great pictures, Scott. My pictures are still trapped in my camera. I'll have to post them and a recap tomorrow.

It was terrific to see everyone today. Thanks for a great morning and a great drive.

Default Great Time in Cary/Apex

Thank you for a great Saturday. I really enjoy looking at the photos of the day - they reveal how amazing our Saturday mornings are because of the great people, the new attendees, the great locations, and the beautiful cars.

Here are the people who attended yesterday:

Scott (white C4S)
Dell (red 996 cab)
Ken (silver Cayman S) and his son (red 944 - not at the meeting)
Charles (blue 996)
Randy (blue 996 aero)
Ken (gray 928)
Helmut (yellow Cayman S)
Alberto (gray Boxster S)
Scott (gray M5)
Dave (997)
Bob (black 996 aero)

One of the topics that really sticks in my mind is Dell's recommendation that we end one of our next drives at a food destination - possibly a barbecue place, or Helmut's brat house recommendation in Sanford.

I took a shot at putting together a group shot of the cars at the lake. You can see where the lines are, but it's a neat photo.

Thanks again for an awesome morning. See you all next weekend!
Bob

Rich, Michael, George, Ralph, Bruce and Manil - We missed you. Hope you are having a great weekend. See you soon.

Ken (silver Cayman S) - I'm finally getting your name right, and I've forgotten your son's name - sorry about that.

Alberto - I neglected to mention your adorable son's name. Welcome, Luca!

Ken (928) - I'm sorry I forgot to mention your daughter's name. Can you pls post her name so I might remember next time?

The younger kids who attend are gathering might be the best behaved kids in the Raleigh metro area! And I know our conversation isn't that interesting to them.

Is it just me or should we all sit on the board of the greater Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill chamber of commerce? Anybody not from the area following this thread would surely desire to move here. I mean who wouldn't???? Great guys. Great coffee. Great cars. Great drives. and the list goes on............

Bob, sorry I missed the Saturday coffee gathering, unfortunately work sometimes gets in the way. And, to make matters worse, I will miss this coming Saturday gathering as well. 2 weeks in a row, going into DTs. Enjoy and I will catch up on the 31st. Keep the pictures coming, at least I can daydream as I travel. Best to all.

Didn't know if any of the Raleigh crowd might be interested in the auto expo coming Feb 5th-8th. Not too many winding scenic roads in downtown Raleigh to encourage a drive destination, but may be worth checking out. : http://www.raleighconvention.com/autoshow/index.html
Not strictly Porsches of course but it looks like there may be some nice cars there. And I'd love to hang out in the parking lot and talk Porsches with anybody who might attend.

Not to be confused with the Feb 12-15th NC Auto Expo at the fairgrounds : http://www.ncautoexpo.com/

So this is what we woke up to this morning.........

Anybody up for coffee and a drive?

We'll be taking the little one out later this morning to see his reaction to the white stuff.

Actually Dell, I was going to ask you if I could borow your 4 wheel drive Escalade to take my wife to the RBC Center tonight to see Celine Dion......We've had tickets(don't ask the price) for over a year and this happens....better still, maybe you could chauffeur us there?
