A round of applause please
A round of applause please for Bob Kim and Leith for putting on a great tech event. They did a wonderful job and it was much appreciated. I met lots of new people and had some great conversations. I even learned a thing or two from the 3 techs in attendance. Thanks Bob, and thanks to Leith.

Saturday events
In case you missed the email and other posts - here's a note from the hurricane region about 2 local event's that are happening Saturday ...
The Saturday, September 4, we have the tour of the North Carolina Center for Automotive Research (NCCAR) in Roanoke Rapids, followed by some "touring laps" of their track. For those joining us from the Raleigh area, we will meet at our usual Saturday Morning Coffee venue, Jasons Deli in Brier Creek, and convoy over to NCCAR. We need to leave Brier Creek at 9:15 so we can arrive at the track in time for the 11:00 tour. For more information, please contact Dave Enochs (deeno1@mindspring.com) or Rob Blackmon (robertblackmon@roadrunner.com).
Also note that this Saturday is the first Saturday of the month when the various car clubs show up at Brier Creek. As some of you have heard, we are working with the Brier Creek property managers to ensure that we have a safe and enjoyable gathering. We expect to have an area roped off between the old Camilles location and the old Unos / Masons location. I would like to ask everyone attending this weekend to park in the roped off area and encourage members of other car clubs to do the same. With more and more people just showing up, it's more difficult to ensure that everyone "plays by the rules". Please do what you can to help out the newbies.

Thanks for the positive feedback, Mark and Charles. I'm very glad that everyone in attendance seemed to have a great time. Charlie, John, Todd and the technicians at Leith were excellent and generous hosts. I really have to hand it to them for their creativity and collaboration on the event.
Also, I'll be enjoying a busy Saturday of Porsche fun - Wake Zone in the early morning, possibly Brier Creek after, and then the NCCAR tour with Hurricane PCA.
I'll post my contact info. on the Triangle PCA FB page, if anyone wants to caravan to any of these events.
