I am definitely interested; as long as you don’t mind a water cooled, front engine, V8 joining in.

I can confirm closer to the date.

fpen - would not have cross posted if everyone was not welcome. Looks like a clean and tastefully moded cabrio. Not many of those around.
Thanks for the compliments! I posted my response before I realized you had cross-posted it to the other forums. Good idea not disclosing the exact route in a public forum.

I look forward to further details as the day approaches!

Sorry no Corvettes allowed - only Porsches

j/k you are welcome of course. I think it would be great to get at least one car from each of the forums here at Rennlist represented. I have posted on the 356 through Carrera GT forums

Yep, that stretch of 221 is simply amazing.
I enjoy it with a bunch of Pcar friends every year.

check out the video, that's Grandfather Mtn parking lot we're pulling out of as the video starts.

yeah, BRBS is where I learned about that road. I went to III, IV, and V I think. Back in my previous life as a Boxster owner. Fun times, fun car, fun road!

I think V was my first year.
Been every year since, the last four with the 996.
Mostly Boxsters, as you know, but others are welcome.

I'm in.

I have a route that takes all day if people are interested. It's probably 9 hours or so of great driving from Charlotte with some of the best roads in NC. Maybe too much for a fun run though.

And there are roads that are better than 221, with less traffic. PM me if interested.
