Current count for interested or outright in is 14! Still exploring best routes and will have that for everyone within the next couple weeks. Did some exploring today and may have the first leg partially determined

Here are the participants so far (or at least Tentatives):

SC996

Addicted
ferraripete
jpyles
fpena944

Thanks everyone for the great response so far and the patience for permitting me the time to scope out a decent route. I am going to avoid boring roads wherever possible.

The crowd is building. Can I particpate in an off brand ?

The GT3 just doesn't feel good on the street anymore

Krista - Are you going to Zone 2 this weekend ?

No, I didn't register in time not sure how I missed it and so will be going to my 1st autox in a desperate attempt to moderate my track compulsion.

Skeet though not recently. Would like to say critters but the neighbors are too close to pull that off more than once

What Browning do you have? I have a '62 Belgium made, Auto 5, gold trigger with a 30" full choke. Recoil operated so it likes to leave a bruise!

Bill,

I am a member of Charlotte Rifle & Pistol CLub, which has skeet, trap, five stand, and sporting clays, located about 20 miles south of your office on the NC-SC line. The shotgun ranges are open to the public on weekends.

The Gastonia Police Dept runs a range at Rankin Lake (just off US 321 from I-85 South) which is very convenient as well. They have several skeet & trap fields.

PM me for more details.

I need to brush up on my shooting before a trip to the Greenbrier in May.

I may join the fun run in the SL55 , if I am in town that day.

Thanks.

Tom

I have a '65 Belgian Sweet Sixteen A5 with gold trigger that my grandfather bought new oh so many years ago. Has been used in the field by my him, my father, and myself as well. Not the nicest gun in the world but has priceless sentimental value.

Tom you let me know and I will be there. This weekend headed back to VA to spend some time with the wife and friends but will also give me the chance to bring back the tool and ammo.

Anyway we are almost at capacity for the fun so that is looking to be a big success!

I'm up on the North side of town so I use the Rowan County Gun Club. Not a member but they are pretty cheap and open on Fri (summers), Sat & Sun.
