Ben, if I recall correctly, you called a fellow member's wife a "transvestite" here. What goes around comes around.

Let's call a truce. I'll go to my indy and get my scratches buffed out, you go to your MD and get your tramp stamp buffed out and we'll call it a day.

Easy there, his name is "Ben". Fair game to consider his avatar silly if you want, but at least call him by his name.

This thread has gone way down hill. Ben, certainly brought some of this on himself, but the "pile-on" is going a little over the top.

Wow, look how my thread turned out. Missed a couple of pages there. I put up the thread to get a poll, not to start an internet name labeling contest. If you guys don't like someone's post, someone spending their money on girls/guys/escorts, guys buying cars to get chicks, then just move on with your lives, whatever the heck it is you do in the daytime. If this were a 997TT forum, it'll be a different story.

And Land Rover is built for performance off the road - in fact, if it's a halfway decent off-road vehicle it's built with engineering compromises that actually hamper it's performance on road.

What else do you call it if you're buying a car specifically to impress? You're buying it to see and be seen in - in short, to pose in. Nothing necessarily wrong with that, if that's what you like to do with your money.

That's too funny
FYI My DD is a 91 Merc 300E that has 198k miles. Collecting cars is just a hobby as any other.

And so, with just one moronic thread, the status of driving a Porsche is destroyed.

just as i had predicted - a bit of racism, a bit of accusing people's friends that they don't know of being prostitutes when in fact they're quality people. and by complete and total strangers to me.

only if you cowards could say this stuff in person

Was it your moronic side of your brain that attracted you to this "moronic" thread? Just keep on crawling by to the next thread, dude. Nobody put a gun to your head to read it.

They may well be quality people. Their chosen profession does not necessarily make them bad people. Although in this case I would question their choice of clientele.
