Looks great Mark, just last night I was just thinking that I have not seen an update on your project in a while. Can't wait to see it with the new wheels and aero!

Thanks once again for all th kind words. You guys are great. I pick up my wheels tomorrow and hopefully, I'll have them on the car either tomorrow or Friday. I had the two that are anodized powdercoated black to match the two that were already done.

Mark: I'm not a big fan of black wheels....but those look absolutely attention grabbing. I've got to see that car when you get them mounted. Looking goog buddy.....you're finally coming to the end of a long road....and you've done an admirable job.

Chuck, thanks. I was not sure at first, but they are starting to grow on me. I'm looking forward to the performance benefit of the wider wheels and lighter weight. Lets try to hook up next week and do the Salmon Falls run.
Blinkwatt, thanks for the recommendation. There is a Big O tire store about 3 miles from my house that Damon at the Tire Rack recomended. I have dealt with the owner every time and they are fantastic. They damaged one of my cars while parking it. The owner had me take it to the high end body shop next door and had it fixed without any argument. They gained a customer for life.

Mark,I'm curious to see those black wheels(which look great by the way) on your blue 911.How much weight per corner will the new wheels save out of curiosity? Have you corrected your electrical gremlins?Your ride looks really good.

Mark, thanks. Steve, I was hoping to weigh the new wheels, so that I could compare them to the old. I probably won't get to before they are installed. I believe it will be significant, since my old wheels are solid with the polished finish. If I have the chance to weigh either, I will post the results. I really don't have any significant electrical problems. Thanks.
Riad, thanks. The repairs & parts only, set me back about $2,000 ($14,000 total). The mods, stereo, aero kit, & wheels will probably bring me up to about $20,000 (after I sell my old wheels). I sold the vesuvio tiptronic 996 for $23,500 and it had almost double the miles. I'm pretty happy with it.
