I think after all the work, blood, sweat, and countless hours that Mark has put into this car, he wont' be selling it anytime soon.

I really don't have any significant electrical problems. Thanks.
Riad, thanks. The repairs & parts only, set me back about $2,000 ($14,000 total). The mods, stereo, aero kit, & wheels will probably bring me up to about $20,000 (after I sell my old wheels). I sold the vesuvio tiptronic 996 for $23,500 and it had almost double the miles. I'm pretty happy with it.
That's fantastic.

You did a great job.

Wheels look great !!!!!
Why do I keep on wishing that your calipers were red instead of black?

May I ask what you did for the pedal hardware? I have the same set but I think the hardware is weak at best.

Can't wait to see the aerokit! And I say yellow calipers w/ red "Porsche" text.

Mark...the car looks awesome. I too can't wait for the aerokit. And as for the painted caliper suggestion...I definitely second it...although I'm torn between yellow and red for what would look best. Either one would really set off the wheels nicely. It's not that bad of a project, and with a little patience (something you apparently have an abundance of), you can get near factory results. I always get compliments on my red calipers, which I did myself about 1 year ago with the autozone hi-temp paint and clear coat.

mark,

It looks great...they make black "Lug covers" that look like black lug nuts but they are actually just plastic covers that snap on. I just bought some black wheels and they sent me a set with the wheels...if you want I will try to find the package and get you the contact info.

Joe, you certainly understand the disease. I checked out some pictures of your M3 project car a while ago. You did fantastic work on it. I will probably do another project in the future...for the sake of domestic tranquility, I should wait for a while.
John & Scott, thanks. I do like the red calipers. I will probably wait till I have the aero kit done and need to do a brake job. They look great on your car Scott.
Tim, thank you. I used some left over OEM black torx screws to install my dead pedal. I will also used them on the gas. They match perfectly and they just look like more rubber cleats. You can get them from Sunset Porsche for a few pennies. Sorry, I don't know the size.
Mark, thanks. I had some of those on my previous car. They were nice for the price. Thanks for your kind offer. I have chrome lugs on right now ($189...ouch). The Kinesis wheels will not accept the covers since the heads of the lug bolts protrude. I will probably end up using some that are powdercoated black. I love the titanium ones, but they cost as much as a nice set of wheels.
