the only difference between an '02 and '03 is about $4k in resale value. 10months aftermarket warranty vs. 3 years Certified Porsche Warrany? Hmm - Take your pick!

Yes, only from individual to individual, not to another dealer. And the new owner must "transfer" the warranty with PCNA. There is a coupon in the CPO booklet the new owner fills out and mails in to transfer the warranty.

1. Porsche Dealer to Individual......you can get CPO
2. Indiv to Indiv.....you can transfer CPO
3. non-Porsche dealer to indiv.......no transfer of CPO on a previous CPO'd car that they aquirred or offering of CPO to.

Price being equal I'd go for the newest car with the CPO, then mod it how you like it, rather than taking an older car with mods that maybe you would not have installed.

Phil, if you're selling your '04 for 49K, then maybe Zoolander should be talking to you.

Fair point. At least Zoolander can't say I didn't try and find him a good car - hey, I would have even come over to your place and done the inspection and test drive for him.

Throw me a bone there Phil. Tis the season for helping those less fortunate and in need. Oreganet has offered his valuable time which I consider a great gift for which I am grateful.
Help those who need a C4S. It is not a pleasant life without it's sunroof over my head.

Gant, you're about 7-10K too high for that car. Maybe 60K if it was an 04.

Shame on you for trying to rip off another member
