Please... stop the insanity. We need to let Dell and Gant sit in a room all day until they work out their "valuation" issues.
Phil's in a tight spot because for what his car is worth, you could get a nice 997 - now I certainly don't want to discuss the merits of a C4S vs. a 997, but there's just too much overlap between the price points of the two models.
I agree that I'd be suspicious of car #1's new engine and mods. I like car number two, because I always like low miles, but the consensus seems to be car number three, so who am I to disagree?

Global Motorcars thought it would transfer as they bought the car a week before and it was certified. You're explanation just makes you sound like a company man.
So you telling me it's NOT gay, when you're NOT in my position says alot.

theres probably not a wrong choice to make from a logic standpoint, assuming again that they are of equal mechanical condition - and that above all else should be the first consideration. a car purchase is a VERY emotional one - Pcars being THE most, i think for all of us - and you mustnt make it based on logic. whether its a color, option combo or custom wheels, the car has to fit you.
unless youre feeling that one car is grossly cheap, and saving 4k is important enough to sacrifice other things on a 50k car, no need to rationalize!!! are you kiddin me? after spending that kinda dough on a TOY, you better be skipping home after you sign on the dotted line. you will always regret not getting that "special" car if you decide based on others opinion and doing the wise thing. go with a car tugs at you... better to have overspent and love a car than to have bought a bargain(and not sure theres any of that) that leaves you wanting/regretful.
just my $.02

Ahem! Was?!! We love yer Gant, but sometimes we gotta wonder. Pretty funny that you kept that first post... I still remember that clearly.
I was sitting this one out on the sidelines, as to me the only honest valuation is what people are prepared to actually pay for a car.
