The door was from me getting out. I guess that panel shifted and prevented the door from opening until I angrily gave it a "nudge".

First time driving a 911 Turbo was test drive in IL two weeks ago before pulling the trigger. Everything everyone's said re the gas pedal is true. Can't wait to get it on the coastal twisties I love here in Bay Area.
