i took it to my body shop and had them painted it the same time I had my front bumper re-painted after a small scratch/dent form a very low impact fender bender.

@85eurocarrera: I taught my son to drive a clutch on my previous 996. Below is my current car. I changed motor mounts the other day. Felt good to get my hands dirty on a 996 again.

Man, both sound amazing. I assume the muffler delete was setting off your neighbor’s car alarms? Not that there’s anything wrong with that...

ETA: I passed a (I think) 997 GT3 the other night and it sounded similar to your 996. Not ear shattering but the same visceral growl. I’m thinking a new exhaust is in my future. After the tail lights, wheels and Michelin’s, and...

So far all my kids drive stick. 2 down, 2 to go. Although, only one really enjoys it and is making that a requirement for his next car. The other two start driving this summer. .They've all 4 had successful lessons so far. Even the older one who doesn't like it, at least he CAN do it in a pinch.

Save the Manual!

Thanks, your car has some nice options, The quad tips look good also.

I take it the Aero kit is original install ? You don't see many on Targa's.

and the wheels for a GT3 ? , 11's" on the back ?

Reason I ask is I originally wanted to put some widebody ones on mine but like others ask, do they fit ?

I run 23mm spacers on my 10"s and it seems like there is a little room left on outside to go the full 11" but wasn't sure.

Default Bill Asks"What jack point are you using?"

I'd say by location of the jack it was aluminum crossmember. Hopefully
