Hey! Let me in! It's freezing out here!
It's freezing out here...
We had a bit of snow a couple weeks ago...the Cayman S lives indoors alongside my wife's SUV...no worries, this girl was out and about the next day...

She is 23 years old this month. I need to remember that anytime I am up to my eyeballs in stress due to her imperfections. Buying this car in 2016 was the first time I had ever invested into something both financially and emotionally (I know.. it's just a car). I jumped in over my head with no real mechanical experience and a tight budget because I knew I wanted this more than anything. I couldn't imagine waiting 30-40 years to fulfill my dream like so many do and there were no guarantees I would be around that long. Pictures like this and a good drive on the backroads melts away all that stress! She still isn't perfect and I am still learning to be okay with that.

After searching for months I'm finally a 911/996 owner - a 2001 in black metallic with a natural brown interior.
Have to say black wasn't my 1st choice (Texas - hot, wanted an interesting color) but the combo with brown is amazing. Interesting bits on it: Aerokit Carrera, 414 polished twists, and Tequipment HPAS audio (OE by Jehnert). Tucked in the garage for now while I get inspection and tags sorted.
