All I know is I should own more tools. I'm redoing the suspension on my targa and every time I turn around I need something I don't have. I'm actually ordering stuff online AND making runs to local auto supply houses.

When I did my suspension I was able to rent a spring compressor and few other things from local AutoZone. They have a free tool rental. You essentially get a hold on your CC and take it off when you return it.

Finally got the engine in the frame on my other project.
I have been slowly working on converting a Jeep Wrangler to Diesel and will be building a custom camper on it.
big project, but I am getting there!

Always liked the idea of the Coty Built 1.9L VW diesel kits for Wranglers... such a cool set up.
Yep, when I first saw their YJ with the 1.9 years ago, I said: "One day I am going to do that"
Its not a YJ, its a JK, and not the 1.9TDI, but the 2.0, but I am!
So brisket special, got to get me one. Bought used Jake Raby 3.6 pistons from a build. Had to clean them up. In the interim bourbon is gone. Making my meat sauce for lasagna, tomorrow’s chow. Now I need to go watch the brothers on power, drugs, hoes, clubs, bootty, what else do you want??? Not bad. 12 lb brisket, not much deckle fat. Pistons on the bank 2 where pretty dirty number 4. After bourbon beer, carb cleaner, good looking pistons. Sorry, bourbons are gone at the same time pistons are cleaned. Meat, sausage sauce for tomorrow’s lasagna.
That looks delicious. Man I get sad seeing foods with tomato sauce because I get nasty heartburn now... I'm only 39 yrs old.
so first layer is Italian blend shredded cheeses and ricotta. Top layer the Italian cheeses plus the Mexican blend ones. Now overnight the lasagna will seat in the fridge so the pasta will absorb the flavor. I suggest you eat this type of food early in the day.
so I just have to bake it tomorrow at 350 for one hour. Vuola dinner is ready.
No reason to start a new thread... but just curious, does anyone know what the dealerships are charging for rear and front brake jobs? - including new pads, rotors, sensors, and shims. No bleeding.
