ok here we go. fitted a stage 3 chip in my car went for a run . on the highway. only drove 10 miles. on my return journey l wound it up to 105 mph . for a few seconds maybe 10 .secs. l start to hear a wine scraping sound. some slow down tooke the exit ramp which has a bad ditch in it due to previous repairs and bumped over that at about 50 mph 😳 . then l slow down for lights and a serious rattle appears 🤔 so.l nurse it home . l plugged in my code reader and itsxsjows p0 022 + p0 012 . left n right bank are retarded.? plus mass volume air flow circuit low input. l.know lm.going to be looking at a hefty bill, but why did this happen . l had a very slight misfire on start up which cleared up shortly once reaching running temp . lm totally gutted l am in the process of upgrading and getting this car which only has 55 k onit back to oem. l have recently put the oem. airbox and new filter i put new shocks ie coilovers all round. l.know it's a long shot but . lve been told it could be timing chain tensioner breaking up or moving . ? does anyone have any ldeas ld be most grateful 🙏. sad 996 owner.

 

Maybe you should have gone with a Stage 1.

Both codes are position of camshaft in relation to crankshaft codes. One is for bank 1 and the other for bank 2.

Now...this is your third different post about chipping and your second on this topic. So I have 2 questions for you.

1. What does Thornton say?
2. Do you have a top notch Porsche shop that you can tow the car too?

Not knowing whats going on other than the two codes, I wouldn't start it again. Get an appointment with a top shop asap and tow it there. Stop messing around before you do more damage. And let us know what your shop finds.

lts sat at a shop right now and the initial diagnosis is that is not good lm told it may need a complete rebuild. 🤔 .the knocking seems to be coming from the cylinders? if that's the case then l have located a donor engine. lm still waiting on the final outcome of damage . . l will put you all out of your misery soon and you can all.have a good laugh at my expense.
