i got lucky as I talked to him for awhile and the helmet i wanted they were out of stock and none were coming in any time soon ..so he said i have the carbon version and I will split the difference in price which was basically 30% off.. Yeah i got lucky.. I don't deserve it either @De Jeeper but that was a hell of a deal..

Had my first thing break and CEL at the same time happen… door handle spring broke a week ago while out and while driving it to the shop to have them fix it the CEL came on… how ironic… turns out the rear accordion intake boot had a rip in it and caused the CEL… she is back at home now and ready for more upgrades coming soon…

I found a good deal on a used slightly damaged CF console. It looks like the idiot was jabbing at the lock for years and his aim was ****.. he must have used it a lot as the epoxy had chunks missing and needed some TLC… thank god for good friends that do this stuff all the time… the repair turned out great

Does Chris do CF repairs on any interior parts? My CF steering wheel has the usual cracks and I would like to get it fixed or buy a replacement at some point.

So I have not installed the UIDS yet as I'm still waiting for others to post about their experience.

In the meantime I had a dome light bulb go out last week so i went to replace it and who ever changed it out previously didn't know what they were doing. They had cracked the lens by prying on it and prying on the black plastic. all but two clips were broke so i just ordered a new lens and new black plastic piece to the tune of $220. I've come to realize age on the plastic is a guarantee break when working on 20 year plastics. I think for now own i will just replace all the plastic pieces as i go.. Just my rant for the day

About 600 miles on my UIDS and happy so far! PM me if you have any specific questions but I'd say go for it and get it installed.

@Justin76 Hi - I'm new to Nashville .... would like my Targa ceramic coated and PPF installed. Do you have a shop that you recommend? Thanks.

Man, if that was hanging under the back of my car I'd have a skid plate protecting it. I've already 'modified' the stocker once...
