Finally ordered the RPM Technik Ducktail and opted for the EVO vented model instead of the regular non vented model. RPM doesn't accept CC purchases so you'll need to do it via wire and since this was my first International wire... I had to call my bank to get it completed and would explain why the hell I couldn't do it via the app or online. On top of ordering a sweet ducktail, I also learned the international wire process so it was a win win. The car is currently back in the shop due to a very slow oil leak and it can only be a RMS or the IMS cover seal, while down there cleaning up, the shop will also install the headers as well. Safelite installed the glass and let me tell you guys... it's like driving a new car. Once the car is back in my possession this week, I'll get the brakes done and phase 1 will be complete for this year. Next big thing is the detailing stuff which I'll make sure to take photos and provide info for those who want it.
I am pumped up for you to get that decklid man ! major props for going through with it... it’s a lot of money - totally think it will be worth it though.

I expect 1 million pictures upon its arrival.
Thank you brother and yes tons of pics. A friend of mine does a lot of professional shoots so I’m hoping get some things done, especially rolling photos but I’ll be leaving again around 1JUL and not expected to return until mid NOV. Hopefully it’ll happen around that point.
Just sold some ETH crypto and decided to get another exterior upgrade in the form of a carbon fiber DP-Motorsports Cup lip. Pretty excited to get this particular item because they’re so uncommon.

Neat...just checked them out... I could go on a real carbon binge with their stuff. Dig it and can't wait to see the stuff on your car.
Well it appears that my budget was thrown out the window. I got lucky in our marketplace and snatched up a Porsche Tequipment Roll bar. It’ll be a cool little road trip to Marietta GA and good thing my TDI Touareg gets 700mi to the tank because ATL is feeling the effects of a fuel crunch. Went ahead and contacted Suncoast about the mounting kit, they’re working it as we speak so those parts should be available soon. It’s currently white in color and it’ll be resprayed in something a tad different. I’m thinking either a Silvery Gray or Guards Red.
Now that the roll bar is purchased, I’ve begun my search for seats. My father has a 2020 Nismo 370Z that comes with Recaro Sportsers and those are the absolute smallest seat I can fit in. After initially looking at Recaros, I’ve turned my attention to Brides. Not only is their logo one is the weirdest/coolest in that genre of racing seats but you just don’t see them very often. For as much as I’d want the look of a racing seat, I’m getting something a tad more comfortable for my lower half. After playing soccer and riding bike my whole life, my legs are abnormally large for a 5’9” dude in addition to gaining 30lbs due to a hernia issue. Bride makes a seat called the Euroster II in a faux suede which have caught my eye. They’re reclinable but designed for comfort and long rides. Biggest selling point is the medium height lower seat bolster and that they’re available in black with gray script, I’m not a monster so the gradient Bride look is just too JDM for the 911. I’d like to be different but not like obnoxious about it.
I bet if I could send my motor to MT Fuji the boys at HKS would figure out how to make it really sing !
I wonder who worked the JGTC 964? There has been some really cool 911 race cars that have raced on various Japanese circuits, makes you wonder if those companies ever developed anything for them.
Well, I drove up to Marietta GA to pick up the 996 Tequipment cage from EPG Atlanta and let me tell you... great freaking score on the part. Brian was a very cool dude, car lover and a sneaker head so we had a lot to chat about. Got to see his 997 and pics don’t do it justice.
The shop has a very cool vibe to it, glad I was able to chat with a fellow enthusiast about all things Porsche and other random topics. Made it in 10hrs from Miami all while getting 30mpg at 80mph in my TDI Touareg.
I’ll be back in Miami Monday morning and will be dropping the cage off at a local body shop and have it painted. It’ll more than likely be a slivery gray in color, have a nice contrast in the interior. The car is all done, Limitless went ahead and installed the headers so a sound clip is due, can’t wait to get the car back.
Best graphic for 996 IMO. Based on Gt3 Script. I have been thinking about this same style, only with Targa script in place of Carrera. That blue on white is classic.
I like as well. 6RS white/blue or white/red... that’s it.
He even has matching Porsche bikes.

Man after seeing Brian’s 997, I 100% think you can rock it.
