Finally home and about 5mins after walking through the door... went to the garage to start the cars... specifically the Porsche. It was very slow to start but it did on the first try and the battery tested positively(no pun intended). I promised people some sound clips of the exhaust set up and ordered a couple items to properly record the exhaust in different places and speeds. Tried it once before but the wind noise was pretty loud on my Osmo Action camera, did some research and tried a little foam sock thing... still didn't work. After watching some vids, decided to use an external mic, the rest of the items will be here next week so hopefully I'll have the vids ready by next weekend. I'll post pics of what I used and what worked, here’s a pic of a couple of things that I’ll try.
Next, someone reached out and bought the Wilwood trailer adapter so I'll have to remove the bumper. With the bumper off, I'll clean up the area and the rear wheel well. The rear pads and rotors are beat to hell so the rear brakes will be done next week as well.
Not much of a rum person, more of a Scotch and Whiskey kind of guy. I did get some rum from some of the places we visited for work. Definitely not trying the Orange Liqueur from Curcao, that’s for guests but the rest of the stuff was regarded pretty well. My grandpa used to have Ron del Barrilito and figured it would look nice in the bar.
