I'm hoping to get E88s in the near future and have a front pair of CCW C14s sitting in the garage, it would cost $3k for the rears to be made.

The interesting thing is I can get a set of BBS LMs for a tad less than $4800 and pay the extra for the matte center. The OZs are extremely light and oddly enough the GT3 rear spec are NLA on TireRack so I'd probably never get rid of the OZs now. The CCWs are beautiful and can had pretty much whenever and if I can find as set of TE37s in GT3 sizes... I'll be all over them. Just don't want to get too into wheels like I did back in my Honda and Nissan days. At one point, I'm ashamed to admit this now, I had set of Mugen MR5, TE37s, Spoon SWs and Gram Lights for my slow assed 93 Civic Hatch. During the Z era (and living with my parents) that car had TE37s in custom HKS purple, Works VSXX, BBS LMs and Enkei RPF1... don't want to go down that trail with the Porsche but it's so hard not to.

Hard not to go down the trail, indeed.

Thinking about the stuff I want to do sounds so reasonable until you add up what it would cost and it's like $20k.

Amen. After 20 years I still haven't done anything with wheels and aero. Every time I look at the cost, I decide to spend the money on engine upgrades, suspension or exhaust. Once again, this year is engine, next year is suspension and more engine. 2024 is exhaust and more engine. Maybe 2025 is wheels and aero. But the good news is I have a n other 30 years to figure it out.

My buddy who’s heavy in S chassis Nissans keeps sending Yahoo Japan ads for TE37s but all widebody fitment. I told him if he sent me another link with the wrong fitment… I was going to murder him.

I couldn’t find all the pics but man I totally forgot about my BBS RGRs. Oh well this is what $13k of wheels look like

I had a set of silver Mugen RNR’s on my Fit. 9.5 lbs. per wheel, just amazing what they did for the responsiveness of the suspension. I had to source them from Japan because all I could find in the US were white ones.

I loved those cars, it's a shame Honda stopped making them. Real RNR's were such a clean and rare wheel in the world of knockoffs... crazy how the prices have exploded(much like our cars). I sold my MR5s locally to kid with a EF Civic, his parents wanted to surprise him and his brother was an acquaintance of mine so the price was good at 3600.00 with all the lug covers. Miss those days and would love to get an EG again but it's pretty much a reality that it would get stolen.

Man I wonder if a set of Work Brombachers would work with the 380mm brakes? Price seems about right. Only thing I'd do is paint/powder coat the centers Guards Red, that would be another $400... shipping was 190.00 as well.

I bought a bunch of parts from HKS USA when they closed their doors the first time, most of the stuff on my Z came from test mules so getting parts took a lot of emails to HKS Japan and google translate. I know it's not everyone's taste but the car was complete. All authentic parts and all real JDM at a time where bootleg stuff ruled.
