Maybe I missed it but are you running spacers? If so what size? What are the specs on the wheels (offsets)?

I have spacers up front that were provided when I did the 350mm rotor upgrade, I believe they're 5mm and here are the specs on the OZ's:

Front - 18x8.5 +53
Rear - 18x11 +63

I was going to link the wheels via TireRack but the rears are "No longer Available", the 10" width version is but not the 11" width.

I've had pretty good results with Armor Shield ceramic coating but when time comes to do it again I'll probably go with the combo from Gtechniq CSL as the main coating and the EXO top coat. Have heard very good things about it.
Thanks brother and I'll look into those, I like knowing what's out there and there's a chance that I'm going to start doing some detailing work on the side.

That's awesome! That's basically what I do as a "thanks for letting me drive your car for the weekend" deal. Have a 993 on the list once it's not stupid cold. I sense you might enjoy going down the rabbit hole as much as I do when it comes to detailing. If that's the case, check out Obsessed Garage and some of their content on detailing. The guy rants a lot in monotone voice but I find his character hilarious and his never ending chase for perfection when it comes to detailing, among other things.

I'll check them out because I've found that random things really help out when doing certain jobs. I got my Lexus certification back in 2004 and learned a lot about paint in general but not much on technique. My buddy with the pick up is a city FireFighter and once his co workers saw his truck after the polish... they want me to do work for them.

Here’s a good pic of the shine after the ceramic coating and polishing. Oh and one thing, I ended using two bonnets to complete the job according to their instructions.

That picture is probably one of my faves but it definitely shows the rear fender gap… which is a lot. As mentioned I have an OEM GT3 coilover set that has been rebuilt. The car has a M030 suspension on it right now and it’s a hair lower OEM, my garage entrance has a 2.5” squared edge which is a requirement for hurricane rated garage door. Getting in and out(straight in) will be an issue once I get the GT3 suspension installed or any other kit for that matter.

Now, I’m looking to get a set of Tarett LCAs from Philooo which I can assume are for the GT3 suspension he sold me with the car. I’ll need to get the rear hats and drop links as well. Essentially converting a C2 M030 to an OEM GT3 with Tarett LCAs. With that set up, I can run a Cargraphic airlift kit that is solely made for a GT3 OEM Bilstein kit at about $3k. Just sent an inquiry email to Roberuta(JDM brand) to see what their kit would cost.

My other options would be to forgo the GT3 & Tarret setup and do a Non GT3 Ohlins R&T or Bilstein PSS10 with Elephant LCAS. Either way, the Cargraphic or Roberuta kit will be included. The car will see some DE events and Porsche events in the state or in the SE. Hopefully I’ll make a decision while being gone for these next 6 months. The end goal would be to get the desired stance and replace all the worn suspension parts.

My backup project would be the exterior refresh with a new cup front bumper and CSR hood. The back up to the backup would be he 380mm brakes. Guess these are my 2022 plans, just typing out loud.

Had lunch with @barbancourt and got to drive his .1. It was extremely smooth and he sold me on getting a Numeric shifter.

@TheChunkNorris 's car was amazing, but he's an even better dude. I knew his car would present well, but that car looks like it was built a year or two ago, not twenty years ago.

From pictures online, I was never really a fan of the .2 Aerokit rear spoiler. Well, I was wrong… in person, that thing is beautiful. Sets off the car nicely. I’m sure the ducktail will be even nicer. Also, I was very impressed with the 3.6 engine. Nice punch down low. An interesting contrast between our cars is that Chunk has exhaust mods and I have a K&N. Both make great noise, but obviously sound so different. Very interesting to drive them back to back. I like both sounds. I think ideally, you’d have a combination of both, but I could see them losing their distinction when they are making noise simultaneously. Lastly, I realized I need to get a set of the LED tail lights like Chunk’s. They are so clean, and look more factory than the Depo-style that tried to mimic the 997 LED tail lights.

I will say the suspension surprised me a lot. My car has the M030 and I haven’t driven many other P cars so I had zero experience until driving Barbancourt’s .1. Can’t get over how nice the Numeric is and that’s 100% going in my car when I get back in late August.

Wasn’t particularly impressed the only time I’ve gone. I’d give it a shot again this month if possible, my departure date is between the 21st and 28th and won’t be back until late August or early Sept… assuming we don’t mobilize to the Black Sea. The Flat 6 Rebel guy is pretty nice, I’ve chatted with him on IG.

Just got back from Disney and couldn’t stop thinking of getting the damn ducktail installed so that’s exactly what happened when I walked in the door. Finished mounting the mesh and aligned it, came out pretty square. Feel like it doesn’t open as much because there’s a lip that touches the back of the hinge, I might have to notch it but would rather wait until Lee Sibley let’s me know what his looks like.
