Great build thread! I just had a Numeric SSK and cables installed on my 996.1, it’s fantastic. Highly recommend it, it’s like a rifle bolt.

Chunks,

I would just keep posting pictures of it daily on every thread you can. Never get tired of looking at it. If you think you are repeating pictures, just set a different bottle of scotch and rifle from your collection in the picture somewhere and it will be a brand new picture. It's all eye candy to us.

Well I was able to procure some very rare Swiss hotness for a G36 conversion I have. As some of you know, B&T is a Swiss company and they make weapons and accessories. Turned out that someone who follows me on IG has some friends that had several sets of G36 transitional handguards. For any years, there were no rails that allowed for 12 o clock attachments on G36s. These are extremely rare to find and luckily he had 3 for sale, two of my friends have G36s/T36 so I hooked them up.

There’s a little extension on the top potion for whatever you’d want up there. Here’s a pic of the newer rail on my G36C(converted from a SL8 so it’s all German).

OG transitional rail

Lastly the OE HK C hanguard.

I love the rifle and hyped that I secured that rail… extremely lucky. If any of you all are in Miami, West Kendall area, hit up this place called Taco Bao’t it. It’s a Mexican-Cuban Asian fusion spot and it’s delicious.

The first pic is a Boa taco with fried pork belly and the second is a chicken taco that uses wanton dough for the taco. The place is pretty new and always packed but absolutely worth the wait.

Very cool. Love HK. Have had a USP 9mm since the Bush admin. Still love shooting it. While I appreciate all of the new stryker fired stuff, still like something with a hammer.

I like firearms in general and I do have some USPs.

My favorite pistol to shoot is a CZ TacSport and a Walther PPQ Q4 SF. My carry gun is a Sig P365 X with an optic, I don’t particularly like Sig US as a company but that pistol is perfect. I usually recommend Glocks to people when they ask because they’re almost boringly reliable. Also got around to organizing the ammo and parts closet.

Headed to the local Porsche meet at a local brewery with a buddy who owns a 997.1, had a good time and some really nice cars showed up this time.

Chunks, so here is the million dollar question, do you have an MP5 or and SP5? I don't. But am looking for one. After the UIDS of course.

I wish and I'm hoping to have a SP5 next year or so. Currently own two roller delayed actions from Cohaire Arms and a PTR C93 which are both clones. Oddly enough the Cohaire is a MP5K PDW clone and has all German internals, runs like a sewing machine. PTR purchased uncompleted Century rifles and finished them up, both of them are great shooters.

The 996.X gang was well represented and there was one other one that really really made my night. It was a very clean 996.2 Turbo, Silver on that cinnamon brown interior. The drop was perfect, had HRE mesh wheels and was as clean as mine... not a swirl mark on her.

Sorry I couldn’t make it last night. Looked like a nice event. When is the next meeting?

Second Thursday of every month but I think there’s going to be a bigger event in March, DRT22.

I had a damn epiphany. You guys remember when I said I had some weird scratches in some places and couldn’t figure out how they got there? One my neighbors reported seeing a freaking peacock running around the neighborhood which coincidentally was by my house. Im willing to bet that bastard was perched on my fender and causes the unusual scratch patterns. This will also explains the giant bird **** splatter I’ve had to wash off my VW and pavers for the month.
