Any guesses as to which one will reach the highest amount? Both are on BAT right now. Both are beautiful in their own right, but I feel it comes down to which headlights do you prefer?
Yes, original #408’s pop up on eBay or Rennlist from time to time; usually $3K - $4K. Worth the premium if you’ve got a MY1999 #408 build of course. If not IMO you’re better off with MUCH cheaper aftermarket lightweight alternatives (OZ, CCW, etc).
I have original 408, they are painted red, however one is bent, can they be refurbished. The particular wheel balances but it uses a lot of weights. Should I just leave it as it is or refurbish it. It’s driver side rear.
35,000 after fees seems about right these days on BAT. Wild guess, I think the .2 will go for a bit more, maybe around 37,000 + fees.
for the .2 with no oil changes in 4 years you think that would not scare people away. I would not bid 25 on that car without an invasive ppi looking for bore scoring. Anyway we don’t know what kind of knowledge and backgrounds some of the bat bidders have.
It's nice until you look underneath. I guessed it would be a northern car judging from all the corrosion and some minor rust, then I pulled the Carfax. I was right - Michigan and Penn.
holy crap....what drove THAT price? The color is beautiful....but otherwise it is nothing particularly special....mine is in similar mileage range and would photograph as well after a detail, do I just need to spend a few grand on wheels and do a gundo hack on my Ocean Blue Metallic 2k C2 Cab to sell for $52k!?! or even high 40's?
