Very nice. OEM 997 Turbo wheels? Funny, after all these years, I didn't even know you had a 996.1.
Yes, they are OEM Fuchs in the "997 Turbo style" but were made for the 997 C2 narrow body...kinda rare... 8.5 x 19 ET51 front and 11 x 19 ET67 rear...
I fell in love with them when they came out on the 997 Turbo, .......and in 2008 when they offered them in the C2 offsets I had to have them !!
New the set Retails for almost $10k but you used to be able to find some pull-offs for about $2k a set......IF anyone see's a nice set of the NB Fuchs,( for ~ $2k), I'd take another set !!

Very cool. I never knew they made narrow body versions. I also used to run 997 19 inch wheels. Lobsters. 19x11 et 67 with no spacers. 295/30/19s. At one point I ran 305/30s with no issue. And 19x8 et 57 with 14mm spacers. 235/35/19s. Thats nice you have a 8.5 inch front wheel. I’m currently running a 245 front tire on a 9 inch wheel with a 295 rear. It’s nice to have the wider wheel in the front.

Yea, you can find the wide body ones all day long, but the narrow body ones are pretty rare...
I like the Lobsters too ( my 2nd favorite OEM design), but the Fuch design just does it for me as my all time favorite...

They fit the car well. I really liked them. I just couldn’t turn down a set of E88s. This is with the 305 rear.
I think the E88's are the best aftermarket wheel available but aesthetically those Lobsters on your car look HOT !!! ( I think your whole car looks hot,, I want it ..lol)

Thanks! I really liked the lobsters. They seemed to fit the car well, but the E88s are amazing. SOOOOO much lighter.
I'm looking forward to the drain/new sensor with more capacity.
Yes the E88's are incredibly light weight, but I wanted a more robust wheel for the Bama pot-holed roads ie. the Forged Fuchs...
Your UAOS Track Drain Option upgrade and the upgraded new Sensor/Harness is boxed and labeled, just have to drop it off at the UPS store...
Thank you. I'm just seeing this. I already have the extreme track duty drain with new oil fill tube option from you. I just need the new sensor.
I just ordered a LN transmission magnetic drain plug to go with the LN oil plug I have. Doing all fluids soon prior to driving season in MA. Will be nice with the added capacity. I also got this for track days. I have very little ankle flexibility and rev matching has also been kinda difficult. This should help. AUTO-BLiP | Intelligent Downshifts Gallery | AUTO-BLiP

Yes, sorry Patrick, I got you and Stephen mixed up...( I'm getting older by the min..lol) you both ordered updated Sensor/Harnesses at the same time and sometimes I get screen-names and "real names" mixed up.....Yours should be there tomorrow..
I love the Auto-Blip Device, it brings the 996 up to "modern Track Day Technology"......( wish they would make one for the 99 C2 cable-TB cars also)
You should join us at one of our 996fest track days!
Details? That sounds fun.
