You have no problem in the US with first publishing something and then filing a patent for it?

In the rest of the worlds IP system your post here on Rennlist became relevant prior art if you would pursue a patent.

So far it is a maintenance solution but certainly not ‘ultimate’ in my view.

Its not prior art for me since I am the Inventor ,In the US we have a 12 month "grace period" that other country's don't have. And also the reason I have not disclosed the best part of this system. If you were impressed with this you haven't seen nothing yet !!!

I love that his initial post got hate at first. That could only happen here. It really proves how stick in the mud so many people are.
Good work PT. Since my AOS is perfectly fine, I'm going to wait for the day you are selling a plug and play kit.

I challenge every member to make at least a $1.00 donation to help move this effort forward, Skip has been so helpful to all that have asked for help!
Try going to any Porsche dealership and ask for help...It'll cost you$$$

I did my part and sent in $10. I haven’t had any AOS issues, and let’s pretend that I never will. The community will benefit from this one greatly.

So my threat on AOS Life Expectancy just became irrelevant! Thank you so.much!! That's worth $10 just to stop having to monitor it 😋

My car goes in next week for an AOS test. So may get to try this right away.

How long do you think before you can reveal all? I'd like to do this all at once.

I will now recite three Hail Ferries for you.

Hopefully timing will coincide nicely with my rebuild. You really got my attention with the earlier teaser. Nice to see a first step...

It really is amazing the attitudes that some people carry around. That must be a hell of a burden.

I'm not a religious man, but I will kneel at the alter of the Porsche gods...

Everyone warned me when I joined this forum and purchased my car over a year ago that Porsche people were inclusive, snobish, entitled, arrogant, and just not nice. My experience has been the opposite. People like P3 share so much intimate knowledge, and others on the board have been so helpful. Too bad we have folks like the haters to throw a negative spin on things. I guess there's one in every crowd. Just happy that P3 is an adult and takes the haters comments with a grain of salt and continues to share his knowledge.

Do you know if this mod can be performed on a Tip Cab without engine removal?

Will my 996 pass California smog with the full AOS solution you envision in place?

I'm not sure even if you have very slim hands/arms that you could seal the Atmosphere port on a TIP in the car. Ill try to find out...

Tail pipe emissions will be no problem. . While I plan to make thing as "Factory Looking" as possible, and to be inconspicuous and blend in . Someone familiar with Porsche 996 will know something is different. I have heard that some Inspection Stations in Cali look under the lid carfeully.
