For looks how many agree that C4S is the best looking 996. The GT2 and Turbo are great looking but the rear spoiler and the side scoops ruin the looks. For me the the ranking in good looks is
1)C4S
2)GT2
3)turbo
4)GT3
5)C2
I am not a fan of cabs, so they are not in the list. I am curious what some of you guys think.

agreed that's why with any amount of money at my disposal, i'd buy the c4s over and over.

You got my vote, definately the nicest looking 996. wingless/ductless widebody = best looking 911 IMHO.

The real spoiler of the Turbo is what makes it look better than the C4S. The regular spoiler makes the *** end look dumpy.

You've got wing men and non-wing men...

I'm a wing man. I think rear spoilers balance the car out a bit at the rear and am a big fan of them as long as they are tasteful. I also like the air intakes on the side of the turbo.

Thus my ranking is:

1) GT2 - my favorite spoiler
2) Turbo
3) GT3
4) C4S
5) C2

I know many will disagree, but that's what makes the world interesting...

I dont like the "pimped out" look of the "whale tail" rear spoilers. Might be nice on the track, but for everday use? I prefer driving in stealth mode

Nah. I don't agree. Sure the C4s is sexy but
they are all sexy. Some are just more sexy than others and you can make them even sexier......if you have the guts to be different that is. Mine's moded out like you wouldn't believe. Iv'e had C4s owners drooling at it too! And a 996 cab with the top down just has to be the ultimate IMHO no matter if it's a C2, C4 or TT. The sexiest 996 I have seen so far on rennlist is Don from Cape Cod's C4 Cab. No doubts about it.

I think the C4s is the best looking for the money, it may be the best value in the Porsche lineup. The other nice feature that people love or hate is the red plastic that connects the two tail lights, a 993 throw back that I really like on that car.

I like the side air intakes on the turbo, they make the car look aggressive. The rear wing doesn't offend me either way.

what about the RSR that was on the cover of the last Excellence? I think the race trim 996 is unbelievable.
