Pics of it on all 4's? Love your wheels. Do you need spacers with them on your 4S?

Well, I put in distilled water into the coolant reservoir of the cabriolet and dropped it off at the repair shop. No drama luckily.

As for the coupe, I woke up at the crack of dawn, headed out the best local roads we have (in Scott @ Team Harco’s back yard). Joined a buddy and ran through Hell, Mi several times. Interesting, on the way there, a 928 passed me and we ran up to 120 on the highway. Very sparse at 7:30am Sunday. Had a blast!

The majority is 87 (which is what I use for my lawn equipment) but I found 90 at a Shell 5 miles from my house.

Looking on PurceGas app, I don't see anything higher than 90, although the app doesn't have a way to search by octane.

Yeah, love my QuickJack too and I'm trying to get some miles on mine before the 6 month change is due.

Oh, Hell! The best roads over there are unpaved. Great shot, by the way. ^^

I put on a winter rally each year. For probably the past 10 years, we "transit" through Hell. There are some good paved roads too. But sometimes the unpaved roads are smoother...

As far as what I did today, I swapped parking spots in advance of taking Speedy to work tomorrow.

Found a big trail of silt that spilled out of the wheels all the way through the garage. Yesterday, I took several brisk laps of our backyard RallyCross track.

Coolant level and oil level both holding steady. Knock on wood...

Thanks and sounds good. I want to see Speedy sideways on Hankerd Road soon! Send out an invite to the winter rally, I would love to observe.

I hold it on the second Saturday in January, each year. Start and finish, at Aubree's Pizzeria, in South Lyon. Remind me as we get closer, and I can provide you with some good places to observe.

Made it safely to work.

New windshield wiper area plastic, new grill plastic, black stone guards and some new floor mats. lots of little fun things to do on this car. This 996 is my new daily driver and I love the manual in it. My 991.1 C2S has the PDK. I have to say, I really like the old 996 a LOT.

Picked up my 40AE from the shop, where it got a full clear bra (full bumper, front fenders, hood and mirrors). They had problems with their computer models for the turbo style front nose...

I just took a quick look at the Porsche parts catalogs:
US front bumper cover on the 40AE is part "996 505 111 22"
US front bumper cover on the C4S is part "996 505 311 05"
US front bumper cover on the 996 Turbo is "996 505 311 05" as well

So technically the front bumper cover is a different part. Not sure why, nor if the exterior dimensions are different or it's just some fastener hole or what is going on.

Not sure if it's actually different or their model was wrong. In any event it took them some extra time because they screwed up some of the material and had to rush order more to get the job done.

So today I swapped the Koni sports for Koni actives and replaced all control arms, toe links, and tie rods.

The wife did not like the Koni sports at all and were at bit harsh to me for high speed damping ( I'm not as young as I remember myself to be.).

PM me if anyone is looking for Koni sports with less than 200 miles on them and or Stainless muffler deletes.

The previous owner gorilla glued some hideous silver gauge bezels on my car and then they fell off. I sanded and painted them flat black and siliconed them on. Not perfect but a huge improvement from how it was.

Many people like the silver bezels. To each his own. Just curious, why did you put them back on? Was it damaged underneath?
