LN Engineering has some instructions for IMS retrofit...but it may also apply for updating the flange. See here and scroll down to download the instructions https://lnengineering.com/products/f...-106-0822.html

Hello 1stz,
Can you provide us some feedback on this set up. I may go this route with the Torque Solutions semi solid motor mounts and Orange Softer Function First Transmission mount support as well. Where did you purchase the Function First mounts?
Thank you.

FWIW, I installed the black (race) PowerFlex trans inserts, feed back was improved however the noise and vibration was overwhelming, was like being in the VanDieman. Switched to the yellow inserts now highway driving is bearable again. Have since replaced the torn trans mount with new OEM, still with yellow inserts, no complaints.

I'm a big fan of OEM for the street. The biggest difference I've noticed with the semi/solid mounts/inserts is that it's easier to find the gear you are looking for in mid turn on the track. I can't say I've noticed it performance wise anywhere else.

+1 on the yellow insert and what Slakker said. A little more NVH with WEVO, yellow insert; but those and a 1 lb steel shifter with a 1/2” raise means a more confident 3-2 or 2-3 shift for me and my machine.

I’ve gone through several cars over the years that went from a sport car and turned into a track car. On all these cars, I always made the mistake and going overboard. Well now that I do not really track the car anymore, I wanted to be careful and not go overboard again. I think l lucked out the engine/trans mount set as I do enjoy little bit more of vibration & sound or overall feel of the car. That said, my C4S is not my daily. I only use it when I go on runs with friends going to different car events.
i will try and provide more update as I put on more miles. My initial impression is that I enjoy the little bit more of vibration/sound and overall feel of the car when I’m going through the gears. If it’s your DD, I imagine someone may find it annoying. But if you are in the “mood” or feeling sporty on particular Saturday morning and going on runs with friends, I enjoy it a lot. It reminds of my past track cars but still compliant when you are putsin around town. Hope that helps.
i bought all the parts from pelican...

Lots of work to my "new" 2000 Carrera in the last few weeks.
Michelin Pilot Sport 4s tires.
Catching the car up on its maintenance:
- Minor maint. Air filter, oil filter, oil.
- New brake fluid.
- Major maint. Fuel filter, belt, spark plugs.
- Ignition coils.
- Engine mounts.
- Transmission oil.
- Transmission mounts.
- Repaired front bumper.
Done by Marvin at the Rennshop in Mountain View, CA. High recommended.
Fister Sport Exhaust. I had it swapped out at shop, FD Motorsports, in Brentwood, CA. Sounds really mean on acceleration and no drone cruising at freeway speeds. Love it.
Continental TR7412UB-OR head unit. Only thing here I did myself. Super easy with the wiring harness from BergvillFX. Love it. Bluetooth works great and it's a million times better looking than the gaudy Alpine head unit it replaced.
Should have taken a picture with the car on, the orange matches everything else nicely.
Todo: Center console delete. Those don't come in the Space Grey of my interior so I'm going to do back. Also going to toss in back floor mats, black GT3 shifter and a black 3 spoke wheel. I think the contrast will look good. Really looking forward to getting rid of the four spoke wheel.
And here is a photo I liked from last weekend:
Hwy 120, Yosemite, CA.

New brake pads all around, new front rotors (rears done abt 16k miles ago so good for quite a while), SS brake lines and brake flush. Also added some "bling".
Brushed aluminum trim rings from didotuning
My wife thought the car deserved an"S" designation with the Flat6Innovations engine.

Replaced the starter. No pics, but it is an exercise in patience and a test to see how many 3/8" socket extensions you can piece together to reach into the void.
I had the startup screech that seems to affect the factory Bosch starters -
