Drove out to a local joint with the Kansas City PCA guys to watch the end of a very anticlimactic 24 Hrs of Daytona IMSA race. It was actually dry enough that the car stayed clean. Amazing.

It was painful to watch. After the rain started, it did not stop. Several red flags, accidents, run-offs, and they finally waived the checkered flag under a red flag stop with about 20 minutes left.

Found out I had yet another punctured tire...this is the third in two years. I think the local tire shop might be tossing out nails on the road to drum up business.

I picked this up from Facebook Market Place:

It was between my in-laws house and home.
Brand new never used 320mm Momo steering wheel.
Not really the style I was wanting, but for $40 I couldn't pass it up!
I may keep it for autox or track days.
...or I might try to trade it for a Momo Tuner in a larger diameter.

On Sunday, I replaced the black Carrera emblem by a silver one bought on eBay and repainted the grill which has been damaged by the California sun

Yeah, I can't wait to get those in. My indy shop is going to evaluate the AOS when it's apart and advise accordingly.

I really like the silver look. My emblem is off and I am on the fence between black/silver.

Did the targa shade button to garage opener mod.

I had to run a couple wires around behind the A/C control to piggy back onto the door lock button for the switch lighting since there were no other switches on the left side. I couldn't have it be the only unlit switch.

I did this last year, One of the best things you can do to a Cabrio so you don't have the opener hanging out the top. Looks Good!

Silver on a silver isn’t so bad either.
