Grinding during a shift? That is usually a sign of a worn synchro. Have you changed the tranny and diff fluids?

Gear shifts are smooth, it’s on acceleration and deceleration in gear.

Got my 2000 C4 Cab smog'd today. Means that I've owned the car for 2 years. Time flies . . .

Not good (devilish mileage). Drove the car today. I have a scrubbing sound coming from my driver side rear wheel. I hope it’s just brakes and not a half shaft or wheel bearing.

More like what I'm about to do in about 600 miles. This will be my 3rd oil change with DT and first UOA so looking forward to getting a baseline. 1st change lasted about 2000 miles due to IMS job and the second one is inching to 5000 miles since November so right on schedule.

Also, stud conversion kit from Rennline should be arriving today!

Took a 100 mile round trip to pick up some wine...

Great fun, but now both sides of my convertible top side beads aren't aligning when I close it. Bah.

Happens a lot. After having replaced my top last year, I don’t operate mine as much as I used to. There is an adjustment for it though.

How's that going?
