I run 285/35 now on factory lightweight a fit is perfect, Just an offset issue in the new wheels.

I’m going to see if I can find some takeoffs to test fit.

Got them for the track, not going to compromise anything to run them, if they don’t work, I’ll sell.

They do look pretty cool though.

I succumbed to the pressure to remove the orange lights. i went with OEM housing and amber bulbs, no fancy LEDs.

Those wheels - I see what looks like two missing bolts. Are those one piece wheels that have fake bolts or are you really missing two on a true multi-part wheel?

If one-piece - do you need any spares? I have a set that might be a match.

Hey, Can anyone help me out on what spacer I can put on the stock 02 LW wheel to mimic a ET40 offset ?

NM - I see its a 25MM diff from stock. I've got a 15MM spacer on the rear and a 12MM on the front currently - I've got an idea ! Hold my beer.

Same here, not uncommon with these engines. I keep a qt in the frunk at all times.
Curious if a thicker oil would make a difference?

I haven't done anything today but get a laugh out of this picture of the first water-cooled 911.

OMG! Is this real!!! So sad if it is . . .

Looks exactly like my car would look underwater w/the rollover bars engaged, so must be the real deal.

Guess I'll have to buy an extra qt to keep on hand too.

Just using 5-40 synthetic. Not convinced that I need to go to DT40 w/a LNE spin-on filter adapter w/a Napa filter plus an oil analysis but I am actually thinking about changing the oil myself in the 911. Something I haven't done in any car over the 20 years.

Have the ramps and the tools. Just need the energy and desire to go to the bother of doing that. LOL!

Porsche makes an official pouch to carry an extra liter of oil. It even has a paper funnel and plastic glove.

I carry one in my frunk but it's more for show.

I carry two of them.
The Porsche bag holds a quart of DT40 and a slightly larger BMW one carries a liter of coolant.

Either way, the OCD side of me shudders. At least the crests are oriented properly though!
