Default Agency Power Headers

Any one have any experience with these?.... Fitment being the issue.
They look pretty and would dress up the underside , couldn't find any performance figures

In for 1. Austin was great to deal with and was able to ship my headers off within an hour of me ordering. Can't wait to get them.

They boost torque, do nothing for the HP figure that's worth mentioning. I tested a set 2 weeks ago, and the results were impressive, if you are looking for a boost in torque, and power under the curve.

I've got a set on my FSI Stage II 3.8l... They obviously sound different from the stock headers - a little higher pitched/more "exotic" sounding... I also have FS Maxflo mufflers (which are a little more rumbly than stock)... I like the sound of the combo. As for the performance - I'll defer to Jake . I think you'll be happy with them

I have the headers and mufflers in my car with stock cats. I think it sounds great.

This really interests my interest... wonder what it'll sound like with a Fister D? Did you wrap your headers?

I do not have them wrapped. Stainless steel is a poor heat conductor and therefore does a much better job at containing heat within the header then the mild steel found in most factory setups. This essentially obliviates the need for heat shielding.

I used to wrap my headers on my race cars.
The wrapping holds in the heat, which is great for keeping the IAT lower.
But wrapping makes the headers not last as long.
I would never wrap headers on a street application unless I was willing to sacrifice the headers for incrementally more HP.
At $500 it might be worth it though, but $1600 headers would REALLY hurt
The extra heat might kill off your cats or mufflers sooner!
But the wrapping sure looks nice on Youtube!

I would get them ceramic coated for heat management as opposed to wrapping.
