No! Maybe the OP didn’t realize it, but the question of the best looking 996 could mean ALL 996s that look the best, the best looking examples across all types, or the best 996s of the same type. Either way, this thread could reach the thousands.

Personally the mk1 gt3 is my favorite 996. I really like the large full size headlights when they are all clear/silver, the mk2 headlights just look weird and almost like an afterthought to quell the idiots down who started all the complaining.
I truly think the world will finally come around one day for us who like the “fried egg” look.
For me, the "cleaner" the car the better. I'm not really a fan of the aero add-ons and wings, but as they say, beauty lies in the eye of the beholder. Browsing through this forum, there are some great looking cars and some great photographers!
