A silver stock 996 Turbo or GT2 /Thread

Don't over complicate it.

Stock, the 996 turbo looks aggressive but classy. It doesn't need any aftermarket clutter. Hell, I'd argue you don't even have to modify the headlights.

I think the "prettiest" 996, would be that of a c4S, with the .2 front fenders, bumper & headlights, being replaced with '99 c2 parts, and filling the lower vents of the rear bumper.

(or) c4S rear fenders, bumper and deck on an early c2. (Again fill the lower rear vents), to achieve the same look.

As someone who recently bought a stock appearing 996 Mk1, the looks are large part of the reason I bought this car. And I have to tell you, everywhere I go it gets tons of attention and compliments for car enthusiasts, kids, and regular folks who just think it's cool.

I do not understand all the hate for the headlamps. I saw the Boxster concept at the 1993 Chicago Auto Show as a teenager and fell in love with it. Elements like the headlamps made the basic round headlights of the 993 look positively old fashioned - just like the round taillights on a Corvette. I'm gladly keeping my headlamps uncovered, amber lenses included.

I think the best looking 996 is the MK 1 GT3. This is the reason I had to get a MK 1 aero with the GT3 style wheels. I really like the look of the headlights and I love the taco!

Default Wow! So many nice 996's in this thread!

Here's my super clean 996.1 manual Speed Yellow Carrera... I call it the Touring-edition....

Factory optioned w/ the M030 ROW suspension, Leather Sport hardback buckets, the 18" Sport Design BBS, Litronic, Sport exhaust, a pair of Aerokit sideskirts, and matching SY belts.
