For me it's the original 996 design.

The C4S is the best looking 996.

Here is my 2000 Millennium Edition #196. Recently cleared 175k miles on it and I've made it my own. The color is so wild and doesn't typically show as vibrant as seen here. Polarized lens filters/sunglasses bring the colors out more than the naked eye but when the light hits it just right it really pops!

I've never seen that color in real life -- does the color really vary that much or is it because of the lens filter you are using? It seems like you have identical purple, black, and green Millennium editions

It varies depending on the light. Those three shots are all with a DSLR and. polarized filter, which does help bring out the colors a little more (polarized sunglasses do too). This was earlier today with my phone. A rare multicolor siting lol

This color was one the first colors that has that "Flop" feature that is referred to on the MT TV car show painters. It Flops from one color to another. there are many more colors now available that do similar techniques, Though not many on a production car. The paint is very expensive. (though Porsche is not ashamed to charge for special paint, besides the Solid and Base metallic offerings.

Most "Pearl" colors today have flop but is usually still with with the same color. My Midnight Blue Targa, looks a different color depending on source light color. Black, Dark Blue, Purple.
My Tacoma TRD truck has Dark, Electric and Silver blue.in sunlight.

Best feature of Millennial Edition IMO.

Mike
