This plus the electric supercharger I got off Ebay makes my car feel like a turbo.

P!g was my laziness. 996 and e90 were hers.

Dude! Why do you "drive" a Porsche if you don't know how to use the skinny peddle??

Being a diesel with a 26g tank, the P!g ranges between 70-120mi left when the light comes on. The 996 is usually around 30 when the light comes on...

I was joking and hoping you would get stranded somewhere taking my advice LOL. I never see the low fuel light cuz I fill up at half a tank. i do know that around town I get 14-15 mpg, so I know what the little pedal is for. So I figure at that, and about 2 gallons left when the low fuel lights up, I would have about 30 miles to make my choice.

That almost happened a few weeks ago while I was down in South GA. We were out in the middle of nowhere around the swamp in a POS Nissan rental. The light comes on and I initially think nothing of it as the Cayenne has conditioned that to be more of an informational item rather than something to be concerned with. Then it dawned on me and noticed we had 20mi left. Had under 10mi left when we found a gas station That damn road just kept going with a whole lot of nothing on either side!

I never see the low fuel light cuz I fill up at half a tank.
I hate going to the gas station so I put it off as long as possible. Best was in my Escape where the engine died with just enough momentum left to roll up to the pump Almost did that in the P!g, but that would have been a very bad day since it's HPFP does not like going dry...

Especially right now when it's colder than a witches titty (location depending).

If you wanna cry, run it dry. Applies to quite a bit in life. Lube responsibly friends.

Oil starvation on the intermediate shaft bearing is a rookie mistake.

Hey Folks,

I hope the mods don't delete my post. Last week I posted here and then it was removed shortly thereafter. Maybe because I didn't use the word "IMSB"?

Ok, so maybe I should use a sentence with that word in it. Here it goes...

Well, this car has fallen into my lap for consideration. 1993 C4. Owned by a friend of the family. I believe it is a one-owner with 80K miles. She wants $6500 for it. Seems like a good deal, but I'm not sure since I haven't had a chance to research the value on it or even look at it in person. It's obvious from the picture, the owner damaged the lower fender. Wonder what the cost of repair of that piece would be? Since Schnelly owns one of these, I wonder what his thoughts would be on this machine.

(mod deletion prevention sentence)
If I owned it, I would sure miss the nervousness of knowing that it doesn't have a IMSB failure problems or the other 29ish modes of failure. I'll would also miss the fact that I could be left stranded on the side of the road.

B3: Bumble Bee color! Much safer than "Arrest Me Red". Corvettes are fun. Not 911 fun but fun in different ways. True they don't have IMSBs so that is a plus. Always sounds like 5CHN3LL likes his so hopefully he will chime in.

BTW: IMSB...

If you fix the lower panels, odds are you will *not* experience IMSB failure.

I'm only familiar with ZR-1 pricing but on its face it ̶s̶e̶a̶m̶s̶ seems like a good deal.
