A good friend just bought a 121k mi 2004 996 C4S without PPI.

Seller had huge stack of service records, one INDY serviced the car for last 10 years. He spoke with owner of the shop, reviewed history, drove the car home to LA from Vegas.

51 modes of failure and he is not afraid.

He is one of the 95% of P car owners that have never heard of RL and is sometimes, I think better off. He missed the IMSB hype but also misses the humor and fun we have!

Nope, Didn't get one on my C4S either.
It breaks, it breaks. I'll drink heavily that night and start planning the rebuild the next morning.
And I got a tech school buddy that's a tech for Porsche so at least I would have that going for me.

In the mean time, I enjoy every minute I drive it, even the ones stuck in traffic with clueless NJ soccer moms behind me texting while sitting in their Yukon XL's with the high-beams on.
