Yep
Thanks for clarifying! I misread Wikipedia's article about the Turbo S 993 and so I missed that the 993 Turbo S was available in both 1997 and 1998. At the risk of annoying this forum's members for its redundancy, I was hoping someone could validate/refute/amend what Wikipedia says is the distinction between the 993 Turbo and Turbo S:
- Power upgrade to 450 hp (DIN) (424 hp (SAE) for the American market) achieved by larger Triple K K-24 turbochargers,
- Additional oil cooler
- Modified Motronic engine management system.
- Inclusion of extras including carbon fiber decoration in the interior makes it different from the earlier lightweight, spartan 964 Turbo S.
- Yellow brake calipers (were they carbon ceramic?)
- Slightly larger rear wing (is it a different shape?)
- Quad-pipe exhaust system
- Front spoiler with brake cooling ducts (on European market cars)
- Carbon fiber door sills with 'Turbo S' badging
- Air scoops behind the doors.
Apologies in advance if this question is beaten to death elsewhere in this forum.

NOT carbon ceramic brake disks! lol Nobody had those back then.
The rear wing is quite a bit different with small vents and wing/gap. I forgot this myself. You can do an image search and see for yourself. Wiki is probably pretty accurate.

Gentleman,
I have a 993tt weekend car.
What are your daily drivers?
I'm in need of a daily dadmobile and daily fun car I could care less about depreciating or diminished value from an accident.
Wife has a XC90
Thinking about a Model Y and 991.1 GTS, or combine it with get the soon to be announced Taycan GTS ST?

Sure.
Just poking fun, but no one can answer your question for you, it's so individual.
My other vehicle is a Tundra - does that help?
Cheers,
Mike'

The CF in the interior are panels that are glued over the OEM leather panels. The steering wheel has CF sections top and bottom. They look great.
There is leather on everything. Way more leather than a normal Turbo. Even the ***** and vents are covered in leather. It is wild.

Advanced
Looking for some input. It's more out of curiosity as I have already paid for the car, but I bought a 1997 Turbo that was kind of a track (DE) car back in the day, has since sat in a collection collecting dust for several years, but what would the value be for:
1997 Turbo
Black Exterior
Black Supple interior
51K miles
one minor accident on the front passenger fender, but professionally repaired
Not looking to sell, but its tough to value these cars. I went with my gut that it was a good deal.

There are low mile '97s are currently listed for well into the $300s... One no-sale on PCar now has a Buy Now price of $350 and Porsche Gold Coast has an 11k mile Canadian delivered car for $369.

I think we just did see a non S break the 300k mark.
