Great suggestion, thank you! I like that, and will be looking into it for sure!

is there an approximate cost of these stands yet? I am interested if the cost is not tremendous when compared to other jack stands.

It's really difficult to say at this point. The number of people joining our list is really helping us, because it's giving us a good idea as to how many stands we need to manufacture initially, and of course the more we manufacture, the lower cost/unit. At the moment we're vetting manufacturers, and their prices are all over the place. I'm sorry I can't offer you something more accurate at this time.

Thank you for your interest!

I also agree about the pins. Seems like they might be easy to misplace and just not quite as streamlined as the rest of the product is.

Having worked on cars for years, previously as a profession, I think this is a fantastic idea. Best of luck and when they come out, I'll def be interested in a set. Gotta get a few more parts for the 993 first though

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the pins and for your compliment as both a diy'er and professional! I really do appreciate that, as you and others who have provided their feedback are really helping us to further refine the final product!

On getting more parts for our 993s first ... you have my full support

If having the pins be spring-loaded internal pins is too complicated, maybe attach them to the stand with a short length of chain, like some standard jack stands do, so as to keep everything together?

Thank you! I had ESCOs a while back with chained pins and I really liked that feature, especially because I'm the kind of guy that loses small stuff like that all the time lol. So I think at the very least we will do that, and I have another idea in mind that will make organizing the pins a little easier too.

Much appreciated!

The price point for moving these to a mass audience (non Porsche drivers, if there is such a thing ) is less than Jack Points stands which I think don't get the car up high enough and a bit more than the HF jack stands that we all have in our Garage. I would say they would fly off the shelf and make you a millionaire at about 37.00 - 50.00 a piece.

At that price I would be down for at least 4.

What is the weight rating (please forgive me if this was already stated)?

No worries at all The stands will have, at minimum, a load rating of 2 tons/pair. Thanks for your interest!

I apologize for missing your comment earlier. I would love to get them down to that price point eventually. Thank you for your input!

Right now we're looking at having them available by early to mid Spring. We had really hoped to have them out by now, but the delay has been largely in continuing to bring the domestic manufacturing costs down so that we can offer them at a fair price. I greatly appreciate the interest!
