What did you do with your 993 today

Fixed the buttons in the console.
I used a thin aluminum "blank" (cough, coke can, cough) and some cheap Harbor Freight 2 part epoxy to approximate the original shape/tabs. I did this once before on the other one, and it's held up for 2 years.

As long as you bought the can of coke at home depot you are fine...

I finished painting my RS tail and thank goodness for the help that I had from members who convinced me not to paint the tail with a rattle can. I ended up buying a pint of a base and a pint of clear and went to Harbor Freight and bought a moderately priced HVLP paint gun.
I learned a great deal going through the process of painting. I learned to be fluid in my paint gun motions and consistent in my distance from gun to part. Color sanding makes up for a less than perfect clear coat finish.
I also purchased 1/4" rubber welting from fleabay, to provide a more finished look to the job. Welting is the rubber bead around the RS tail.
p.s. I believe the RS tail to be a Getty design fiberglass iteration.
My original post is here, #439.With the tail in black, as I received it from the seller.

My project over the past few days:
1. Changed out the front wheel bearings, one was close to destruction, the other was noisy,
2. Realigned and corner balanced the car,
On the 14th of April, out to Buttonwillow to see how everything hooks up.

Quoted the wrong post initially. Love the white turbo twists. Are those color matched from the factory or did you have a shop do it? I have a set in storage and will be doing the same thing, glacier white.
