Since early June when I ran up to OH to pick this (96 cab 6sp with 55k miles) up and drove 7 hours back to NC, I have (in order):
- changed the oil
- put 18" turbo twist wheels and new Michelin tires on
- had the paint restored/corrected and detailed
- replaced the basket handle LED
- installed a Continental bluetooth radio
- re-glued the cab top rear window (that will need replacing at some point)
- added center cup holder & new floor mats
- treated the leather
- removed/installed new stone guards
- installed new boot cover
- had it aligned twice and just today finally dropped it to ROW height with M033 Koni shocks. Pic was taken shortly after install, but hoping the front settles a bit more or I will have the shop adjust some.

Waiting on Bergville to get the LED front light kits in then I am taking a break and enjoying the drive for a bit.

It's come a long way and I've learned a lot. Couldn't have done it without the help of this forum!

Nice!. Any photos or write of the rear window repair/glue? Have a spot on mine that needs to be re-attached/glued until I put it in the shop for the winter.

I wouldn't call it a great job as much as a bandaid. fix. I used Rhino Glue and 95lb magnets from Home Depot to hold it together while it dried. It left small creases at the top of the plastic window but other than that worked.

Magnets! That's the insight I needed! I'm looking for a bandaid as well. Thank you

Why do you guys want to ditch the basket handle? That's one of the distinguishing features of these cars.

Congrats on your new cab! Konis are great but the only issue I have with them is the rear struts are not height adjustable. The front can certainly go down a bit more. I’d drive it a bit to let things settle, drop the front collars a bit then do a final alignment again.

My shop was able to lower the car approximately1 inch at all for corners with the Koni Special Active dampers and M033 springs.

Looks good, now some spacers to push those wheels out a bit.

The rears are fine. Front is still about 1/2" higher than what I'd like. I want mine to be exactly like rlb993c2s C2S. Not sure how long to wait but I'll give it a few weeks and miles.
