The front sway bar drop links were kaputt, so I installed a new set. So fresh & so clean.

I assume California? Do you have to do that every year?

Yes Cali. Every two years. I’ve never had an issue with passing smog.

Passed smog today. Out for a cruise. RC

Just completed a 5700 mile trip in 10 days, 97~% interstate @ 70 ~ 110 mph.

I installed a windows tint film at the start of my trip as a temporary windshield protection. I removed it afterwards and found full of marks and several tiny holes. My windshield did not get any damages I can see.

I changed my oil/filters before the start of the trip, porsche classic 10w-60 with 2 Ceratec cans.
Should I change my oil/filters again?

I would do an oil change a fun trip like that.

I could not get the link working correctly.
I just completed 5000+mile trip and it was very useful although it does not look best.
My wife driving in this pic.

I put some tapes to protect the seat covers on the sharp edges.
I don't plan to keep it in that position long time as I noticed a slight indent on the seat cushion.

I bought these for my trip and rated.
V1G2 saved me 2 couple times.
Cup holder was cheap and most useful.
Sun visor was good but I did not use as much as I thought because I drove from 8am to 7pm.
Neck pillow was good when I adjusted not too tight and turned 90° when wearing.
Window film saved my fairly new windshield glass.

Another item I used on the trip was a Porsche vinyl bra that the prev owner gave me. Not a modern solution for paint damage prevention but it works.
I may look into magnetic car bra but I am concerned at 110 mph.

Can you be a little more specific about the location of the hose or have a pic to share?
I want to make sure mine is in place.
Thanks.

I got the tape from Autozone. They only have 1 carbon tape in my local store.
I recently did 5700 mile trip in 10 days 50° ~ 105° at upto 110mph and the tape survived but with some loose end because I did not wrap around enough on the passenger side.
I had to pop out the "curtain" so that I could install the tape. It took me few tries to install the curtain back on the tail because I forgot to take pics.

Try this coastal road if you have a chance. 👍
It was a memorable drive.

Reached 120,000+1 as I completed my trip a few days ago.
I realized that the trip meter rolls over to 0 after 999.9 miles during the trip.

Whao!

I did pretty good on this photo, IMO.

Glad that I never stayed on that island.

More curvy steep hills up and down.
