My rear wall was cracking at the edge so enforced it with a carbon fiber tape from Autozone. It was just wide enough to cover the wall. I should have done it before cracks came up. There is enough tape left to do 1 more time.
I don't know how long it will stay put but it looks good.

@onelove aka Swine11 was kind enough to share his fusion360 step files with me for the hifi rear speaker frames. Since I had replaced my original speakers with some Infiniti Kappa component speakers, the stock grills never fit properly and I wanted to reuse them. So, after some measuring and refining on my 3D printer, I was able to print out some new frames that fit perfectly with the stock grills out of some PETG filament. Came out great.

Does look good. Is the tape flexible around corners? Does it have a temperature rating?

Best regards,

Darell

That looks fantastic!. What brand of tape and width did you use?

CocoMats, I have had them since my first car, a TR6, in 1982. 3 of our 4 Porsches have them, would be 4/4 but I just don't seem to like them as much in the newest cars....I may get over that, but what pattern and color combo matches Ruby Star?

Nice match to Arena Red.

Wings, I like the black shifter boot. I too have Cashmere / Arena red and that's a nice compliment to the interior. Been wanting to move to that aluminum shifter too.

I changed the engine oil/filters and add Ceratec 1st time.
Anyone tried it?
I didn't drive much so I can't tell any difference yet.
I also bought a cup holder and it is working out great for long trips.

Just got my baby back from a 2 month stay in shop. Items addressed:

1. Porsche classic radio install, new speakers and 300 watt amp installed under passenger seat.

2. New rear glass-this was a project sourcing materials.

3. New headlamp lenses

4. New driver and passenger door rubber-gotta slam doors really hard to fully close!

5. Paint correction. The car has patina on hood as would be expected after 128k miles, but this made such a difference!

Previous mods include Recaro buckets, Kinesis wheels with offsets and fender flaring, Fister 2 exhaust, Fister short shift kit, and Momo steering wheel.

Now that the critical issues are done I can address the elective issue of the new clutch. 😂😂😂

We are building a new home with a 3 car garage. But for now that cream puff Boxster is getting the boot from the garage. Old blue has returned. 😂😂

I used Ceratec in my 955 Cayenne S for 6 yrs as that model was known to have bore scoring and alusil coating on the cylinders was prone to failing. All I know is at 120k miles, motor burned no oil between changes and have great blackstone reports. Never used in the 993 as don't see any reason to.
