Last week I finally got around to installing the Koni Active shocks and M033 ROW springs, so now she's sitting pretty. I find it also remarkable how much the driving characteristics changed after lowering the car by 30mm.

I also had an issue with a noisy gearbox after installing the Fister SSK/GR, which was thankfully fixed by flushing the transmission with ~4 quarts of 75W-90 SL. Now she shifts like a dream.

Looks great! Any ride height measurements / observations on how much thread is left on the front spring perch?

I didn't measure the exact height by the book, but my mechanic and I evened out the height across all 4 wheels. I can check how much more thread is left on the fronts and report back.

After 28 years and 137,000 miles, my shocks and bushings have reached the end of their useful lives. I’m switching to Bilsteins and lowering to row ride height. The car is a driver, never tracked. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I run Bilstein B8's with Eibach black lowering springs at ROW. The ride is great- firm, but not harsh. I don't track either. No idea on bushings- my mechanic redid the front a few years ago.

Good news is you can get Bilsteins again.

@Goose 993 Looks great! Now you just need to add their replica hand brake lever!

I just don't see the value in a parking brake lever. Doesn't really do anything to the driving experience.
