Placed old school Thule racks on the 993. Always feels cool doing this!

Hey Goose….can you do a write-up on the installation process please? I love those skirts on a 993!

Looks great! Could you please share the reference of the Thule roof bars you have on your 993? Is that OK if the bike rack is not horizontal (it seems a little bit low)? Thanks!

Thanks! Lots of fun using them. For those who shaved your rain gutters, your missing out! .

I don't remember what ref # they are. Simple standard rain gutter racks bought 20yrs ago. Yes not horizontal to ground. These are no way 993 specific racks, and if I wanted to, I guess, I would use taller rear mounting legs. But it works, bikes don't fly off and everything stays put on windy roads. Simple on/off and done. I don't use them much, but it's always fun to use them. Extra fun with a surf board. Makes the Porsche feel really "daily useful ", if you get my drift.

At the price it would have been nice for it to ship compete, but swapping the 4 or 5 items wasn't a big deal.

Amazon claims they're dropping of the bleeder Thursday. However I'm still waiting on the ballasts....
Motive bleeder worked well, I used the dry method, first time using one so took my time. Is the clutch typically challenging to bleed? Took more time than I thought for the clutch pedal to return to the resting position. It kept wanting to 'stay down'....if you've done it I'm sure you know what I mean...

I haven't driven it yet as I replaced both ballasts (both ugly) and now waiting on one of the bumperette brackets....but the clutch pedal effort is definitely reduced. Fingers crossed the engagement point is lower....I felt it was too high before.

Thanks for your feedback, yes, the 993 Coupe can definitely be a Swiss army knife with a roof rack. Planning to bring my bike and my surfboard on holidays so need to buy the roof racks :-D

Completed the ballast installs and re-installed front bumper cover; was my first time removing it so while a little finicky it wasn't too painful. One directional and fog light was cracked so I ended up replaced both sets (ouch $$). Hope to take it out tonight to finally test the MPL cylinder.....the saga continues

Do you have pictures of how your badge is attached from the inside? I am trying to put a badge on my 993 as well but the rear spoiler grill is quite thick so I need to lengthen the little threaded cylinders behind my badge otherwise they are too short.

You can buy directly from him through email.

Shipping costs are terrible though.
