Thanks for the nod on the front taco holders. The PO installed and regret I have no paperwork. My Research, however, concludes that this GT2 spitter likely came from FVD Brombacher. See the attached link for more information. It's a solid splitter (fit could be better) and also functions occasionaly as a front bar protector.
If the snow ever stops here in New England I will do the final clear coat and post some pics of the turbo scoops for the C4!
In the meantime, not to derail my own thread, but here's a nice comparison shot of the front splitter next to her twin C2S. A bit nose heavy sans the GT2 tail, but I've grown to like the look. Also posting a few shots with the GT2 Tail now resting in the basement awaiting a good track day. When running with the GT2 tail, the front splitter really helps.
Now that the weather has warmed up a bit, it gave me chance to head on outside and take another shot at painting a set of black turbo scoops for the C4. The primer and paint are easy to apply in thin coats - but the clear coat can be a bit challenging. Too little clear leaves a bumpy and uneven texture, while too much results in runs down the scoops. This past winter it was just too cold for painting and one of the scoops got "soda pop" - so I sanded it down and started from scratch. I bought another set just in case, so I painted three scoops this time around.
As for paint, the paint from Touch Up Direct was a good match for both my arctic silver and L741 black. Their kit with aerosol paint, primer and clear coat is more than enough to do the job. It's also a good opportunity to respray the bumper plugs if they need it.
The spade connectors on the Turbo S Scoops simply plug into your existing wire harness. You'll need to tape over the connections with some electrical tape, but the harness remains intact so you can easily switch back to the original fog lights at anytime. See the pictures below. You can also add a few neat quick connectors like gmorat cleverly did using these.
Hi, just got my turbo s ducts, can anyone confirm that BVW 2039 from Duplicolor also works for arctic silver? Touchup Direct only sells the package but I don't really need primer and clear. Thanks.

FYI Touch Up Direct has a great match for the arctic silver, and definitely sells just the paint if you click the right buttons. I just purchased a can of paint last week, sans the primer and clear coat which I already have.
Scroll all the way down to the bottom past the "packages" and you will see just the aerosol can for $24.99
Question from Noob who wants to eventually do this. I have a White cab, will the scoops be the right color without painting since everyone's photos show the scoops before paint as white? or is the white so different from the arctic white of the 993. Thanks
