Thanks Ken, I think it helps show the size of the event. I really liked the part at about 33:39!

I concur that it would've been nice to meet some of the other RLers that have posted here, and that we've seen for years, but not met. Next year, we need to pick a time/place in advance and have a quick beer in the sea of Porsches. Or two.

Ha. I'm more partial to 38:07. Wandered over to check out the "other" car with the rack only to find it belongs to the guy who bought my RS America a few years ago. (The high miler no one wanted, and was going to be his track rat so he didn't have to run his 30K miler. Oh, and the 991 GT3 next to the '73 E is his. And he's got a '14 Turbo S. And a Macan Turbo for a driver.)

Always tough to herd the cats, isn't it? If you didn't call me I probably would have wandered around all day without bumping into you. But we did have that epic box lunch........

I have a few more photos of it. I heard the owner talking to someone and was waiting a bit but didn't have more time to wait to talk.

Has anyone heard anything about Rennsport Reunion V?

I am hearing that it is in the works for October 2015....once again at Laguna.

That is the rumor, and certainly plausible.

Well, a week later and just about the time entering the Traffic From Hell to leave the event--everyone survived the hangover?

(I washed the Turbo, but left the bike rack on. Managed to not drive it all week.)

And a recap from Sports Car Digest: http://www.sportscardigest.com/porsc...report-photos/

EZ to spot my car in that first photo in the gallery. And hey, who's in that Carrera GT? One of our infrequent posters who is the original owner of a 190K+ mile 2S. Spot anyone else?

I ended up having a pseudo-migraine late morning Saturday but had an exquisite early am drive down Hwy 1 getting to San Simeon from Carmel in just a tick over 90 minutes. Made it to Santa Barbara without issue. But from there on, traffic was HORRIBLE. Took hours to get to San Diego. Literally made me rethink Calif.

It was fun in Monterey, but traffic was stupid heavy this year.

Solution--get a car transport worthy boat, unload around San Simeon. Drive the rest of the way.
