PCNA did a fantastic job putting the Werks Reunion together. It was a great show with a lot of variety. My photos are skewed more towards the air-cooled cars. A lot of eye candy, including Seinfeld's first factory-designated 911, a Singer, 356s, 918, awesome longhoods, RWB in the parking lot, etc. Enjoy.

Of all the cars there, my personal favorite was in the corral, a long hood quintessential 911 stood out from the others:

I'm not going to bother posting photos--they're covered here, there and everywhere magnitudes better than I ever could.......

BUT, I've got a ~45 minute HD video walkaround of the whole show. It's processing, and I'll link it in later.

Highlights? Catching up with old friends, and meeting new people.

Lowlights? $20 for that lunch? And seriously, a bottle of Costco water in the goodie bag? (Running a vending company, it would have cost just over $200 to go with a 20oz. bottle of Dasani or Aquafina.)

Oh yeah, there was some neat cars parked everywhere.

Lunch was really the lowlight of the whole event. $20 for a sandwich that tasted like it came out of a vending machine? I imagine prison food tasting better.

It was great to see some awesome cars and see old and new Rennlist friends. Let's just hope they get a better caterer next year.

I still can't figure out why they broke this off from the legends event tho. There was always so many great cars at the legends events, you could spend all day looking at the verity of cars. And why did they limit it to 500 cars? They easily could have doubled that many cars in the same space.

Watch it with the vending machine comments--next year *I* may get hit up to provide the lunches. But my cost on equivalent is about $1.35.

Ultimately, I suspect Rancho Canada has a lockdown on food concessions.

(Would I love to see the financials of this thing. While I'm in a bitching mood, how about the $44.95 event shirt that couldn't have cost more than $10.)

A few pics of the 917 details. Over restored into a beauty never seen when Ferdinand Piech saw it leave the workshop

At least if your vending machines where there there would have been some selection. The only thing in the box my wife would eat was the apple and even that freaked her out a little bit.

I had the bright idea to load up some venders into the trailer next year, and negotiate for space + a percentage to the church for use of their lot. Or maybe just right there on Rio Rd. on the way in. Probably be more popular than if word got out that there was a peep show going on. Or 918 test drives.

(Video is looking to be a 10 hour upload, but I think it came out well enough.)
